trumpet
Alongside my work in sound design and sound art, since 2015 I have pursued a musical career as a trumpeter in various bands on the Florentine underground scene, namely Fish Bones and Ivanoska, with whom I have recorded four studio albums and performed at numerous concerts in Italy and abroad, including a tour of Mexico in 2022 and a tour between Spain, Italy and Germany in 2023.
Since 2023, I also have been exploring electroacoustic improvisation on the trumpet with the goal of developing my personal style and expressiveness, exploring the instrument’s timbre in its various facets.
From the end of 2024, I have been a permanent member of the Bologna-based post-rock band Edera.
w/ Edera
Edera is the duo made up of Luca Garuffi (electronics) and Salvo Ridolfo (drums). After a long experience in beatmaking with Apes on Tapes, Luca meets Salvo and together, between studio sessions and improvisation, Edera is born: a fusion of electronic postrock, shoegaze, ambient and jazzy moments. In 2020 Waterflow and Concrete was released, while in mid-2024 they released their second album, Tempo, for the Ravenna-based label Blooms Recordings. At the end of the same year the duo became a trio, with the addition of Pietro Trallori on the trumpet. Edera plays a hard-to-categorise blend of electronic post-rock, shoegaze, moments of jazz influence and ambient textures.

w/ Ivanoska
Ivanoska are a ska-core band from Florence that has been active since 2005. Their debut EP, Epicskacore, was released in 2017 and featured the single Hawaiian Tea, while their first full-length album, L’Uomo per Bene, was released in 2022 alongside the singles Libertà and Quando Mai. In February 2022, they travelled to Mexico to share the stage with the Mexican band La Milicia on a tour that took them to various Mexican cities, including Tepic, Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, and Mexico City. Later that year, they shared the stage with the punk-rap legends Krav Boca for a few gigs in the Basque Country. In 2023, they embarked on a spring tour that took them to Spain, Germany and Italy. In 2026, they released their latest EP, Oltre il Tempo, featuring the single Le Macerie, dedicated to the people of Palestine and their resistance against oppression and genocide.

w/ Fish Bones
Formed in Florence in 2013, Fish Bones play a wild mix of ska, punk and rap, occasionally venturing into funk sounds as well. Their songwriting, always a collective effort, often tackles social issues, whilst never shying away from biting irony to depict the everyday lives of the average worker or student. In 2016, they released their firs EP, Underground Irregulars, followed in 2018 by Alcolismo e Indolenza, which includes the single Vivo Male and was distributed by Maninalto! Records. The band’s journey continued on the Florentine underground scene, whilst also performing concerts across all Tuscany and beyond, right up until 2023, when they released their first full album, titled Urla Rotte. The album comprises ten tracks, featuring singles such as Turista per Sempre, Mariachi and La Notte è Giovane, the latter performed on the Ariston theatre stage during the national finals of Sanremo Rock.
