Sistema [2026]
Multimedia installation for sound and light, in collaboration with Jacopo Casasola, as part of Hochschultage 2026 curated by HFK Bremen.
Sistema manifests itself as a self-sufficient apparatus composed of luminous bodies and sound presences, which come to life in a dark space.
The idea is to generate a non-corporeal presence, which can be observed as a form of intelligence, or as a unified system of phenomena, which comes to life beyond the presence of an audience, who, as they approach it, become aware of its vitality. It is composed of a series of LED strips laying on the ground, whose behaviour is correlated and organised, and four loudspeakers, placed at the four corners of the room, which reproduce organic sound material, giving life to the luminous presences.
The work is designed to allow those who experience it to walk through it, discovering it as they move around the space occupied by the installation. One sensor will be connected to it, allowing the system to react and change its behaviour when spectators enter into the space.
